About Us

Timbali Crafts is an income generating project for women in Eswatini, Africa. The 75 women who create Timbali products serve as volunteer cooks at feeding centers in their rural communities (care points*), feeding more than 2000 orphans and vulnerable children each day. In the midst of difficult circumstances in their own lives, these hardworking women serve tirelessly and meet a tremendous need in their communities. Your purchase helps to create a much needed income for these amazing women, who would otherwise have little or none.
Timbali means "flowers" in Siswati, and is also the word used to translate "lillies" in Matthew 6, when Jesus talks about his loving care and provision for his children. It is our hope that through Timbali Craft's outreach to the physical and spiritual needs of the women, that they will know and be drawn closer to the God who is the source of all they need.
Thank you for your support!
* "care points" are organized and resourced by Adventures in Missions.
